Senior Clinical Trial Liaison – Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders, clinical study sites, and their staff.

• Engage in focused discussions with investigators and site personnel regarding operational issues, such as patient recruitment and retention.

• Explore clinical and scientific matters with investigators to ensure the quality of study endpoints, clarity of protocols, feasibility of studies, and the enrollment and retention of suitable participants.

• Relay insights and feedback from KOLs and site personnel to both internal and external teams.

• Assist and advise project teams on site identification and selection based on the capabilities of the site and expected protocol challenges.

• Facilitate business development efforts by engaging with current and potential clients.

• Offer scientific and operational contributions for proposals that are in development.

• Participate in and present at bid defense meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A doctoral degree is mandatory.

• At least 5 years of experience in clinical research within academia, the pharmaceutical industry, biotechnology, or contract research organizations (CROs).

• Experience in the operational aspects of clinical research is essential.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the relevant therapeutic area or indication.

• Proven experience working directly with clinical sites and investigators.

• A strong background in oncology studies is required.

• Exceptional networking abilities.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to engage with physicians and all levels of internal and external management.

• Strong negotiation, influencing, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Self-driven with proactive monitoring and management of issues, including risk assessment and contingency planning.
