Senior Clinical Training and Program Development Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Join the EASA Center for Excellence team to deliver clinical training, technical support, and consultation focused on prevention and intervention for substance use in the context of early psychosis intervention service delivery and fidelity review processes at national, state, regional, and local levels.

• Collaborate with the team to assess the effectiveness of initiatives, incorporate new findings, and foster ongoing enhancements in substance use prevention and intervention within early psychosis care, implementation, and training across Oregon and partner states.

• Work alongside the C4E team to execute targeted research and develop programs as necessary.

• Actively engage and incorporate feedback from early psychosis intervention participants, family members/supports, staff, and community stakeholders using culturally responsive, trauma-informed strategies.

• Utilize feedback and data to enhance programming as well as functional and clinical outcomes for youth and young adults.

• Collaborate with the team to craft targeted program development initiatives that include statewide and local community education, marketing tailored to specific communities, research studies, procedures, and daily operations that support training, technical assistance quality, practice improvement, community-focused research goals, and grant obligations.

• Contribute to writing for publication as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant field along with 5 years of clinical research coordination experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with 9 years of clinical research coordination experience.

• Proven knowledge and experience in adolescent and young adult development, family systems and dynamics, evidence-based practices, practice-based evidence, and promising practices in early psychosis intervention.

• Familiarity with DSM-5 diagnoses, evidence-based treatment interventions, and promising practices for various mental health and substance use conditions affecting adolescents and young adults.

• Experience collaborating with individuals and their family members/supports to provide person-centered, strengths-based treatment in both individual and community settings.

• Ability to integrate feedback and data from participants, family/supporters, and the community into service delivery enhancements.

• Trained in substance use differential diagnosis and treatment methodologies.

• Demonstrated understanding and experience in collaborating with diverse populations, groups, and organizations, including low-density populations, LGBTQ+ individuals, and culturally specific communities.

• Experience in cultural humility, anti-racism, and equity practices related to early psychosis intervention.

• Proficient in the adaptation and development of clinical care, training, and policies that prioritize the lived experiences of diverse populations.

• Ability to work collaboratively with team members from various backgrounds, skills, experiences, and credentials.

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

• Trained in trauma-sensitive approaches and practices.

• Experience in creating, supervising, and/or advocating for service improvements.

• Knowledge of implementation science principles.

• CADC I, II, or III Oregon License or eligibility for licensure in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• A valid Driver’s License.
