Senior Clinical Research Associate – Oncology, CNS, Rare Disease

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Perform site qualification, initiation, interim monitoring, site management, and study close-out visits.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) and site personnel as necessary.

• Record findings from site visits in detailed written reports.

• Evaluate, monitor, and instruct study site staff on adherence to protocols.

• Review safety information for study subjects and ensure informed consent processes are followed.

• Execute source document verification to ensure compliance, patient safety, and data integrity.

• Analyze Case Report Forms (CRFs) utilizing either paper or electronic data capture systems.

• Assist study sites in resolving data queries.

• Update site-related documentation for inclusion in the Trial Master File.

• Ensure that sites comply with the receipt, accountability, and return or destruction of investigational products.

• Conduct accompanied site visits for the assessment or training of other CRAs when requested and deemed appropriate.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in English.

• Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.

• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS), and Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate.

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year university or a Registered Nurse (RN)/Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Experience in Oncology, Central Nervous System (CNS), or Rare Diseases.
