This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee and manage assigned claims while ensuring compliance with the company's quality standards.
• Perform comprehensive investigations to assess coverage and validate claims.
• Assess impacted locations and collaborate with external vendors as necessary.
• Offer recommendations on reserves and compile detailed reports.
• Negotiate settlements within the limits of delegated authority.
• Engage in mediations and arbitrations as required.
• Keep accurate records in line with company standards and procedures.
• Support receivable collections for assigned claims.
• Contribute to local branch marketing initiatives.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Postsecondary education is required.
• Possession of or progress toward a PAA designation.
• Must hold a valid license or have the ability to obtain a provisional license.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary.
• Proven skills in claims adjusting and negotiation.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and computer skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Capability to navigate and operate within client-required ancillary systems.
• Ability to function effectively in a remote or home-based setting.
