SAP HCM Functional Consultant (PA, OM)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct functional analysis of Human Resources processes within the SAP HCM PA (Personnel Administration) and OM (Organizational Management) modules.

• Execute parameterizations (standard/customizing) of the PA and OM modules in accordance with business needs.

• Configure personnel actions, infotypes, action reasons, organizational structure, jobs, positions, and organizational units.

• Identify and rectify functional inconsistencies pertaining to the PA/OM modules.

• Assist and promote the advancement of SAP HCM functionalities.

• Offer functional support to HR users by diagnosing root causes of incidents and recommending solutions.

• Develop functional specifications for developments (ABAP) as necessary.

• Conduct functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and facilitate the rollout of new features.

• Create functional documentation and impart knowledge to users and technical teams.

• Maintain the integrity of master data and SAP environment configurations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related disciplines.

• A minimum of 3 years' experience as an SAP HCM PA/OM Functional Consultant.

• Required knowledge:

• Standard parameterization (IMG/Customizing) of SAP HCM PA and OM modules.

• Comprehensive understanding of PA and OM module functionalities.

• Infotype management.

• Personnel actions.

• Organizational structure.

• Organizational objects (O, S, C, P, K).

• Integration between PA and OM.

• HCM-related authorizations.

• Hiring, transfers/movements, promotions, and terminations processes.

• Configuration transport management.

• Familiarity with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA HCM.

• Nice to have:

• Knowledge of SAP HCM PY (Payroll).

• SAP HCM PT (Time Management).

• SAP SuccessFactors.

• Experience in implementation and support projects.

• Experience in preparing functional specifications for ABAP development.
