SAP FI Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the implementation and enhancement of financial business processes within the SAP FI module.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to guarantee an accurate representation of financial operations in SAP.

• Lead and oversee the deployment of the SAP FI module.

• Configure settings in SAP FI, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting (AA).

• Analyze and design financial business processes in partnership with finance teams.

• Create and implement validation scenarios to ensure data precision and integrity of processes.

• Optimize clearing processes for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounts.

• Manage and carry out month-end and year-end closing activities within the SAP FI module.

• Conduct testing to confirm that all configurations and customizations align with business requirements.

• Monitor system performance and suggest improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Extensive experience in the implementation, configuration, and support of the SAP FI module.

• Strong grasp of financial processes, including GL, AP, AR, and AA.

• Proven experience in creating and managing validation scenarios, clearing processes, and reconciliations.

• Familiarity with month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting requirements.

• Outstanding problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, with the capability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
