SAP Cutover Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete cutover process, encompassing planning, preparation, execution, and post-go-live stabilization.

• Formulate comprehensive cutover strategies, plans, and checklists in partnership with project managers, workstream leads, and client stakeholders.

• Coordinate efforts across SAP functional, technical, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure alignment and readiness.

• Manage data migration dependencies, plan for system downtime, and develop rollback scenarios.

• Conduct readiness reviews for cutover and perform go/no-go assessments with leadership teams.

• Identify and address risks and issues associated with cutover activities.

• Prepare and deliver cutover status reports, dashboards, and executive updates.

• Assist with post-go-live hypercare activities and ensure a smooth transition to operations/support teams.

• Guarantee adherence to project governance, methodologies, and change control processes.

• Collaborate with the client PMO, release management, and technical teams for integration with non-SAP systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in SAP program delivery.

• Demonstrated success in project and program delivery across multiple full lifecycle SAP programs, including extensive multi-country rollouts of significant size, scope, and complexity for both ECC and S/4 HANA.

• Significant experience in client-facing consulting roles.

• Proven track record in managing SAP cutovers across various modules (S/4HANA, ECC, BW, SCM, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of SAP technical landscapes, transport management, and data migration tools (e.g., LSMW, BODS, Migration Cockpit).

• Experience with the SNP CrystalBridge solution is highly beneficial.

• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).

• Experience in S/4HANA implementations or conversions.

• Understanding of agile and hybrid delivery models.

• Previous experience in large global rollouts or multi-country deployments, including experience working with global teams and a proven ability to lead teams of consultants both locally and remotely. Ability to manage teams in complex environments that encompass multiple vendors, intricate client organizational structures, and geographically distributed teams.

• SAP or PMP certification is preferred.

• Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) and presentation abilities, with the capacity to influence C-Level stakeholders within client organizations.

• Willingness to travel for project-related purposes.
