Regulatory Reporting Specialist – Central Bank, CADOCs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the regulatory accounting close procedure and the preparation of the Balance Sheet, Income Statement (DRE), Cash Flow Statement (DFC), Statement of Changes in Equity (DMPL), and accompanying Notes, in accordance with COSIF and CPC/IFRS (when applicable).

• Prepare, validate, and submit CADOC reports along with other regulatory submissions pertinent to Payment Institutions (Segment S3), ensuring complete audit trails and reconciliations with the general ledger.

• Manage and enhance the regulatory reporting timetable, proactively identifying risks and formulating action plans as necessary.

• Design and uphold internal controls and automated data quality verifications (completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness), bolstered by KPIs and SLAs.

• Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, managing PBC lists, Q&As, circularization processes, and coordinating with internal stakeholders.

• Collaborate with Data and Engineering teams to document business rules, improve ETL/ELT pipelines, and automate checks and reporting packages.

• Provide support to Treasury, Risk, FP&A, Legal, and Compliance teams with regulatory data and financial statement analysis.

• Monitor regulatory updates from BCB/CMN relevant to Segment S3 and spearhead modifications to internal processes and templates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.

• Active CRC (regional accounting council) registration is highly advantageous.

• Experience in accounting or regulatory positions within financial or payment institutions, with direct involvement in DFs, COSIF, and CADOCs.

• Substantial experience with external audits (Big 4 or comparable), encompassing planning, execution, and resolution of issues.

• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets at an advanced level and possess basic to intermediate SQL skills for reconciliation and data testing.

• Familiarity with BCB/CMN regulations applicable to Segment S3 Payment Institutions and internal control frameworks.

• Strong command of Portuguese; proficiency in English for reading/writing regulations and communicating with auditors is preferred.
