Regulatory Linguist - Polish into Latvian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latvia.

📋 Description

• Innovative linguists with a solid background in the beauty and cosmetics sector.

• Emphasis on brand voice, tone, and captivating consumer-oriented content.

• This role is highly specialized, necessitating expertise in the subject matter. Candidates are expected to demonstrate:

• Regulatory Knowledge: Extensive understanding of EU Cosmetic Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 and INCI naming conventions.

• Compliance Experience: Skilled in claims substantiation (e.g., "hypoallergenic"), ingredient limitations, and safety documentation.

• Technical Precision: Proficient in final label reviews (artwork markups) prior to printing.

• Background: Previous involvement with regulated brands such as P&G or Unilever is highly advantageous. Medical experience is also beneficial.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level fluency in the target language(s).

• A graduate degree in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR

• A graduate degree in another discipline coupled with 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR

• 5 years of full-time professional translation experience.

• Capability to meticulously follow terminology and reference materials.

• Demonstrated professional experience in translating and localizing Beauty and Cosmetics content.
