Product Compliance Manager – Food

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You ensure complete compliance of all products while evaluating formulations, labeling, and packaging (LMIV/Food Information Regulation, health claims, novel foods).

• You create scalable processes that facilitate rapid yet safe product innovations and establish internal guidelines.

• You assist with innovations (e.g., ready-to-eat meals, soups) from conception to launch, maintaining product dossiers and evaluating specific requirements for new categories.

• You meticulously assess marketing claims and promotional statements, ensuring our communications are bold yet legally compliant.

• You serve as the primary contact for authorities and external partners, providing professional advice to the team on complex matters.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in Regulatory Affairs or product compliance within the FMCG/food sector.

• A completed degree (e.g., Food Law, Nutritional Science/Ökotrophology, or a related field).

• Strong knowledge of the Food Information Regulation (LMIV) and the Packaging Act (VerpackG).

• A thorough understanding of health claims and novel foods (Novel Food).

• You demonstrate a proactive and structured approach, maintaining clarity even amidst complex challenges.

• You view yourself as an 'enabler' for innovation.
