This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Editing machine-translated text to enhance quality.

• Conduct post-editing on large volumes of machine-translated marketing content utilizing advanced machine learning tools.

• Ensure the text is precise, grammatically correct, clear, and culturally relevant.

• Work alongside a creative team to uphold consistency with the established style, tone, and terminology.

• Quality assessment of machine translation outputs.

• Assist in quality control by identifying frequent errors and offering structured feedback.

• Fill out brief feedback forms and occasionally rate projects to aid in the improvement of machine translation engine performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in post-editing, translation, or technical writing, on either the agency or client side.

• Strong background in post-editing tasks.

• Familiarity with machine translation systems and evaluation of MT output quality is preferred.

• Native Norwegian speaker with proficiency in English.

• Experience translating marketing content while preserving brand voice and messaging.

• Understanding of technical writing principles and the ability to convert complex technical language into accessible text.

• Exceptional attention to detail and capability to work under tight deadlines.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide constructive feedback.

• Preferred: Proficiency with Mac programs.
