Network Compliance Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive audits of High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs), issuing formal written approvals for compliant designs.

• Uphold data sovereignty mandates by verifying routing paths and confirming that cross-border data transfers adhere to regulations such as GDPR, UK IPA, and lawful intercept laws.

• Assess life-safety routing by ensuring that voice architecture templates fulfill requirements for e911, Kari’s Law, and Ray Baum’s Act.

• Serve as a stringent compliance checkpoint by rejecting designs that fail to meet the established regulatory baseline, ensuring all deliverables are ready for audit before final legal client approval.

• Keep a meticulous audit trail by documenting the regulatory rationale for each approval or rejection to facilitate post-migration external audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in IT compliance, technical auditing, or information security governance in the telecommunications sector.

• In-depth understanding of global telecom regulatory frameworks, including FCC, CALEA, GDPR, UK IPA, and STIR/SHAKEN.

• Demonstrated experience in performing manual, checklist-driven technical audits and red-team style design validation without depending on external generative AI tools.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting network topology diagrams, routing tables, and firewall rule sets to pinpoint compliance risks.

• Strong ability to convert legal and regulatory mandates into clear technical audit criteria, maintaining a focus on governance rather than engineering design.
