This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.
• Take ownership of the UX strategy for a platform that supports over 10,000 organizations, designing workflows tailored to distinct personas with varying objectives, such as security investigation, productivity analysis, and AI governance.
• Mentor and uplift fellow designers through structured critiques, collaborative sessions, and shared frameworks, enhancing the quality and consistency of UX deliverables without formal management authority.
• Simplify complex, data-rich problem areas into clear, actionable interfaces that empower users to transition from signals to decisions with assurance.
• Create comprehensive workflows based on genuine user needs, identifying tasks to be accomplished, defining interaction models, and minimizing friction in multi-step processes.
• Develop and refine reusable UI components and interaction patterns for our design system, ensuring consistency across a highly configurable platform.
• Conduct usability testing, discovery interviews, and internal evaluations to validate design decisions and uncover insights that influence the product roadmap.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to pinpoint areas where UX enhancements can decrease cognitive load, shorten time-to-insight, and eliminate unnecessary complexity.
• Work in close partnership with Engineering to ensure that user experience principles are integrated into every aspect of the product.
• Over 10 years of UX design experience, preferably with at least 3 years focused on security, data-intensive, or technical B2B platforms.
• A genuine enthusiasm for creating outstanding user experiences, coupled with a keen eye for detail—from overarching interaction flows to micro-interactions, visual refinement, and edge cases.
• A robust portfolio showcasing your ability to transform complex, data-heavy workflows into streamlined and intuitive experiences; bonus points if your work has catered to expert users in fields like cybersecurity, analytics, or enterprise SaaS.
• Experience in mentoring or coaching fellow designers, with the ability to provide actionable feedback, facilitate constructive critiques, and support the growth of less experienced designers in their craft.
• Proven experience utilizing AI tools (such as Copilot, Claude, Midjourney, or similar) as part of your daily design process, whether for ideation, prototyping, research synthesis, or production—showing that you design with AI, not just for it.
• Knowledge of the UX challenges associated with investigation tools, dashboards, rule/policy configurations, or workflow builders, specifically where information density, speed, and decision-making confidence are critical.
• Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools, allowing you to quickly create interactive prototypes and iterate based on actual feedback.
• Strong capabilities in systems thinking, information architecture, and component-based design, enabling you to maintain UX coherence across a platform catering to multiple personas and extensive configurability.
• Excellent communication skills, allowing you to present effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, confidently navigate trade-offs, and articulate the reasoning behind your design choices.
• Competitive compensation.
• Flexible paid time off.
• Laptop reimbursement.
• Continuous training, development, and career advancement opportunities.
• Access to an open stack of technologies, providing opportunities for learning and growth.
• Engage with complex problem-solving and active feature development, beyond just addressing bugs and refactoring.
• Collaborate with a progressive team that values new ideas, appreciates experience, and nurtures talent, enabling you to make a meaningful impact quickly.
