Lead Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead the comprehensive design process for key product areas, spanning from discovery through to implementation.

• Convert customer requirements into clear, user-friendly experiences, guided by competitor analysis, research findings, and UX best practices.

• Develop a thorough understanding of competitor features and customer needs at a persona level.

• Employ modern tools and AI-assisted workflows to accelerate iterations, prototype innovative ideas, and validate them through user testing.

• Direct user research to pinpoint critical touchpoints and establish measurable criteria for UX effectiveness and efficiency, mentoring other designers in conducting interviews, analyzing insights, and applying data-driven design principles.

• Steward and enhance our design system to boost consistency, scalability, and user-friendliness across the product.

• Collaborate with engineering to ensure accurate implementation and ongoing enhancement of our design system.

• Reimagine and refine the mobile app experience, ensuring alignment and coherence with the web application.

• Work closely with product and engineering teams to iterate on ideas based on feedback and enhance designs during development.

• Guide designers by reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback that promotes their professional growth.

• Contribute to product and business strategy by linking design choices to tangible outcomes.

• Create and deliver compelling design presentations to leadership to ensure stakeholder alignment and support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Product Design, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership position.

• A portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX, interaction, and visual design.

• Proficiency in Figma and experience with prototyping, design systems, and collaboration tools.

• Experience designing for complex systems or SaaS products.

• Proven track record in enhancing or maintaining a design system.

• Experience in mobile app design with knowledge of platform-specific design patterns.

• Strong grasp of user research methodologies and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.

• Proficient with tools that facilitate rapid iteration, prototyping, and testing.

• An interest in AI adoption within design and a willingness to experiment with new tools or methods.

• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Comfort in discussing technical limitations with developers and devising practical solutions.

• A strategic perspective that aligns design with business objectives.

• Familiarity with AI-driven or conversational products.
