Junior Risk and Compliance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist Kpler’s Risk & Compliance division by providing data-driven analyses related to maritime risk and sanctions for both clients and internal teams throughout the Americas.

• Enhance the presence of regional analysts and boost responsiveness to local market trends.

• Aid in pre-sales initiatives and efforts to retain clients.

• Contribute to the overall advancement of Kpler’s maritime risk and compliance intelligence.

• Broaden analyst coverage into key strategic hubs and establish a dedicated analyst presence in the Americas.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in maritime risk, sanctions, compliance, intelligence, shipping analytics, or a similar maritime role.

• Proven experience in working with structured data, conducting desk research, or producing analytical reports.

• Basic knowledge of maritime trade, sanctions frameworks, or the analysis of vessel behavior.

• Capability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Experience in supporting commercial teams or addressing client-facing requests (Desirable).

• Familiarity with North/South American shipping, commodities, insurance, or financial compliance matters (Desirable).

• Knowledge of AIS, vessel tracking, ownership research, or maritime datasets (Desirable).

• Background in a B2B intelligence, SaaS, shipping, or compliance environment (Desirable).
