Junior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Monitor threats across open sources, as well as the deep and dark web, under the guidance of more seasoned analysts.

• Assist in the generation of cyber threat intelligence, indicators of compromise (IOCs), and technical documentation.

• Support Threat Hunting, Threat Modeling, and vulnerability management initiatives.

• Work collaboratively with the SOC, CSIRT, Red Team, and Risk Management on daily operations.

• Engage in technical discussions with clients, aiding in the presentation of findings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Foundational experience (internship, academic projects, certifications, or initial professional exposure) in CTI, SOC, or Information Security.

• Basic understanding of OSINT and a keen interest in monitoring the deep and dark web.

• Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms (MISP, ThreatConnect, Recorded Future, or similar) is advantageous.

• Understanding of intelligence sharing standards (STIX/TAXII) is a plus.

• Interest in and theoretical knowledge of hypothesis-driven Threat Hunting (based on MITRE ATT&CK).

• Basic comprehension of Threat Modeling methodologies (STRIDE, PASTA, or similar) is beneficial.

• Fundamental knowledge of CVE/CVSS.

• Proficiency in at least two of the following domains: Windows, Linux, Networking, Firewalls, WAF, IAM, or Cloud (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Basic experience or academic exposure to SIEMs, preferably Microsoft Sentinel or Elastic.

• Familiarity with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, NIST (CSF or RMF), and OWASP.

• Basic programming skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for simple task automation.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
