Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and develop software components and web applications within Flexspring’s product suite.

• Enhance and maintain core platform components by producing high-quality Java and JavaScript code.

• Write, maintain, and execute unit, integration, performance, load, and stress testing protocols.

• Participate in technical architecture discussions and influence the product and platform roadmap.

• Set a strong example through code reviews, offering technical guidance, and collaborating with fellow developers.

• Deliver dependable, scalable solutions that accommodate complex data integration scenarios.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and relevant experience.

• Strong experience with Java and/or JavaScript in production settings.

• Solid understanding of frameworks like Spring and JUnit.

• Experience in designing, publishing, and utilizing web service APIs.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to navigate complex technical issues.

• Ability to work collaboratively with other developers and technical stakeholders.

• High standards regarding code quality, reliability, and maintainability.

• Self-driven, accountable, and comfortable taking ownership of technical results.
