This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Act as a financial contributor within the Project Team to ensure the timely, efficient, and accurate preparation and monitoring of site payments.

• Examine the financial sections of Clinical Trial Agreements and create project- and site-specific payment tracking workbooks.

• Oversee advance balance tracking to guarantee adequate prepaid funds for site payments.

• Provide guidance to Project Directors and Project Managers on filling out site payment workbooks.

• Confirm calculations within the investigator site payment workbook.

• Assemble site payment packages for the review and approval of the Project Director/Project Manager.

• Relay approved payments to the Finance department for entry and processing in the financial system.

• Generate Aggregate Spend (Sunshine Act) and Medicare/Medicaid (MMSE) reports as necessary.

• Conduct site payment reconciliations.

• Manage the dedicated mailbox for investigator grants.

• Provide coaching and mentoring to teammates within Investigator Grants.

• Execute ad hoc financial tasks assigned by the Senior Manager of Global Investigator Grants.

• Oversee the pass-through budget for Investigator Grants.

• Gather patient activity data to produce accurate client accruals, ensuring payments to sites under fully executed Clinical Trial Agreements, and project costs to maintain budget health.

• Communicate with sites and clients via email to address inquiries.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in the local country.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Clinical Research.

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable related to global payments.

• Professional proficiency in English is mandatory.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Exceptional time management abilities.

• Capacity to drive and meet critical deadlines.

• Proficient in analyzing, reconciling, and communicating financial results with project teams and investigative sites.

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Highly detail-oriented and process-focused.

• Familiarity with the MS Office Suite.

• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team.

• Practical understanding of IT tools and systems utilized by the Finance Department for grant administration.

• Preferred: Experience as an Investigator Payment Specialist/Senior.

• Preferred: Familiarity with investigator contracts and budgets.
