This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Overseeing the design of features and enhancements for our products to ensure alignment with business goals and user requirements.
• Utilizing Figma and UX tools to create vehicle features and engaging user experiences.
• Taking responsibility for independent design tracks and managing timelines and deliverables.
• Creating and refining user flows, mock-ups, and prototypes to clearly convey design concepts.
• Using data-driven insights to guide design choices and evaluate the effects of design modifications.
• Conveying our brand vision through user interface design for in-vehicle experiences.
• Implementing designs with a strong attention to layout, color, typography, and interactive behaviors.
• Demonstrating enthusiasm for emerging hardware and software technologies, innovative interaction models, product design, and superior visual design.
• Collaborating closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Feature Teams to facilitate a smooth transition from concept to execution.
• Adopting a systematic approach to tackle large and complex design challenges.
• Showcasing creative work frequently and early to key stakeholders during design reviews.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI product design.
• High-level prototyping skills (e.g., Figma, Protopie, or similar tools).
• Outstanding visual design capabilities.
• A portfolio showcasing your work.
• Awareness of intelligent system interactions.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Expertise in human-centered design principles, techniques, and philosophy.
• Experience with automotive UI/HMI is a plus.
• Background in digital product design solutions.
• Excellent conceptualization, written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Experience navigating through iterative product design cycles.
• Capability to manage multiple projects at once.
