This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Monitor and interact with audiences across various social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X/Threads, and emerging channels.

• Address comments, direct messages, and community interactions in accordance with brand voice and engagement standards.

• Elevate sensitive inquiries, misinformation, safety issues, or crisis situations following established protocols.

• Aid in moderation efforts to ensure safe, inclusive, and welcoming digital environments.

• Recognize opportunities for meaningful audience engagement and dialogue around trending sounds, formats, and topics.

• Keep track of conversations, trends, cultural moments, and audience sentiment related to sexual and reproductive health.

• Compose responses to comments and questions while identifying key staff members for review and approval.

• Monitor recurring questions, concerns, feedback, and content opportunities arising from community interactions.

• Assist in collecting audience insights to inform content, campaigns, and organizational strategies.

• Maintain reports on social listening, community engagement summaries, and audience trend analysis.

• Convert audience feedback into actionable recommendations for content and engagement opportunities.

• Collaborate with social, content, and creative teams to pinpoint audience questions, trends, and content opportunities.

• Source user-generated content, community narratives, testimonials, and audience perspectives to aid in content development.

• Identify creators, influencers, and community voices that could serve as potential collaborators, contributors, or ambassadors.

• Assist with creator outreach, relationship management, and content coordination as required.

• Engage in content ideation and ensure that the content resonates with audience needs, interests, and lived experiences.

• Act as an internal advocate for audience perspectives by conveying community feedback and insights across teams.

• Occasionally represent Bedsider, AbortionFinder, and Power to Decide content on camera.

• Contribute to content creation by filming simple videos, capturing social content, and participating in audience-focused storytelling initiatives.

• Take part in brainstorming sessions, campaign development, and content planning discussions.

• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure audience feedback shapes organizational priorities.

• Support audience-centered and culturally responsive storytelling initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in social media, community management, and content creation. An interest in reproductive health, social impact communications, digital advocacy, or community engagement is preferred.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required), with proven experience in creating accessible, culturally relevant content and engaging with community members in both languages.

• A demonstrated commitment to Power to Decide's mission through academic, volunteer, professional, advocacy, community, or personal experiences is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of social media platforms, internet culture, creator culture, and online communities.

• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to adjust tone for various audiences and platforms.

• Proven ability to build relationships and engage thoughtfully with online audiences.

• Comfortable appearing in short-form videos and participating in social content creation.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment.

• Proactive, curious, empathetic, and collaborative.

• Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Monday.com.

• Willing to travel 2–3 times per year.
