Health Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Produce a minimum of 3-4 articles daily.

• Manage a Wordpress website that functions as a newsroom model—writing, overseeing, and publishing a substantial volume of written content and in-house produced videos each month.

• Assist in the planning and creation of video and photo content tailored to local market demands.

• Stay informed about industry trends to maintain awareness of competitors and ensure content excellence.

• Source and direct local talent, including vloggers and bloggers, while also leading link building initiatives.

• Identify local content opportunities and trends to foster the creation of timely and relevant newsworthy content.

• Develop, assess, and enhance the content strategy for Malaysia across various brands, ensuring that targets and KPIs are met in the market.

• Uphold the brands' tone of voice, guaranteeing the highest quality and resonance for all content at all times.

⛳️ Requirements

• You must be a native Malaysian.

• Fluent in both spoken and written English.

• Possess a basic understanding of Chinese characters and writing.

• Hold a degree in Journalism, Media, or Communications.

• Have 2-3 years of experience in writing and editing health or medical articles, preferably in English.

• Previous experience in managing a department or hub is essential.

• A background in digital media with a broad perspective on lifestyle topics is required.

• Familiarity with Google Analytics and Adwords tools is advantageous.

• Expertise in inbound marketing, including content marketing and SEO, is preferred.
