This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct research, create, and refine original content such as articles, features, newsletters, webinars, video scripts, and social media posts.
• Identify and interview subject matter experts, engineers, and industry leaders.
• Oversee freelance contributors, allocate stories, provide constructive feedback, and uphold quality standards.
• Track audience engagement metrics and market indicators to guide editorial choices and discover coverage possibilities.
• Recognize and implement AI-driven tools and workflows to enhance editorial efficiency while maintaining journalistic integrity and creative quality.
• Collaborate with content, marketing, and sales teams.
• Represent the brand on camera, in podcasts, or at industry events as required.
• Participate in tradeshows and significant manufacturing events to build sources, gather content, and promote the brand.
• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English, or a related writing-intensive field; or a degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical discipline along with significant professional writing and editing experience.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an editorial, writing, or content role focusing on technical subjects related to electronics.
• Proven ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and accurately for professional audiences across various digital formats.
• Experience in managing freelance contributors or overseeing editorial workflows is preferred.
• Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling abilities across digital channels.
• Strong capacity to interpret and contextualize technical or market information.
• Comfort in sourcing experts, conducting interviews, and gaining original insights.
• Ability to analyze audience data and convert insights into actionable initiatives.
• Familiarity with AI content tools and a principled approach to their application.
• Willingness to appear on camera or act as a brand voice across various media formats.
• Excellent organizational and deadline management skills.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, CMS platforms, and web publishing tools.
• Readiness to travel 2-3 times annually to tradeshows and notable manufacturing events.
