This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
β’ Foster and oversee relationships with regulatory and governmental stakeholders within Mexico and the broader LATAM Region.
β’ Assist in advocacy efforts concerning regulatory policies and quality standards.
β’ Track, analyze, and convey regulatory changes related to pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements, and other relevant programs pertinent to USP.
β’ Offer insights and recommendations on regulatory trends and their potential effects on USP programs and regional strategies.
β’ Partner with internal teams to aid in the formulation and implementation of suitable responses and engagement strategies.
β’ Monitor and evaluate public policy changes that influence medicine quality, patient safety, and healthcare accessibility.
β’ Facilitate engagement with decision-makers and partake in pertinent forums, associations, and discussions to champion quality and public health priorities.
β’ Establish and sustain collaborative relationships with public sector stakeholders.
β’ Assist in stakeholder mapping, ranking, and the execution of engagement strategies alongside USP colleagues and subject matter experts.
β’ Encourage engagement with key stakeholders in the area, including professional organizations, trade associations, academic institutions, and patient advocacy groups.
β’ Develop and maintain constructive relationships that enhance USPβs visibility, reputation, and mission throughout the region.
β’ Contribute as a member of the USP International Government and Regulatory Affairs team by sharing regional insights, backing global initiatives, and exchanging best practices with peers.
β’ A bachelor's degree in public health, science, political science, law, or another relevant discipline.
β’ A minimum of six years of progressively responsible experience in regulatory affairs, government affairs, public policy, or similar roles within Mexico and/or the LATAM Region.
β’ Proven experience in establishing and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders in healthcare, regulatory, or governmental settings.
β’ Documented experience collaborating with or engaging governmental policy and/or regulatory bodies on scientific and regulatory policy matters.
β’ Experience in matrixed and multicultural organizations.
β’ Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
β’ Professional proficiency in both Spanish and English.
β’ Willingness to travel throughout the LATAM Region (approximately 30%β40%).
