Functional Analyst, SAP FI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as a functional expert in the SAP FI module, encompassing accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, treasury, and integrations with other modules.

• Analyze, map, and enhance accounting, tax, and financial processes to ensure alignment with SAP system best practices.

• Assist the business area in identifying requirements and recommend both technical and functional solutions.

• Help configure and set parameters for the FI module in SAP, including customizations, testing, user acceptance (homologation), and production support for the live environment.

• Guarantee adherence to accounting standards (BR GAAP, IFRS) and Brazilian tax regulations.

• Evaluate functional documentation (BBPs, functional specifications, user manuals).

• Assist audit and controllership teams in addressing compliance inquiries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as an SAP FI Consultant in implementation and rollout projects, with a strong emphasis on support and maintenance (sustainment).

• Understanding of financial, accounting, and tax processes: accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, bank integrations, tax calculation, SPED, ECD, and ECF.

• Familiarity with FI-MM, FI-SD, and FI-CO integrations.

• Experience with Brazil localization (TAXBRA, NFe, NFSe, and ancillary obligations).

• Proficiency with S/4HANA.

• Capability to gather requirements and convert business needs into SAP solutions.

• Strong communication skills, a consultative mindset, and the ability to engage with business and IT stakeholders.

• SAP FI certification.

• Previous experience in tax-related projects (e.g., GRC, TDF).

• Knowledge of SAP CO (Controlling).

• Intermediate or advanced proficiency in English.
