Freelance, Spanish Data Annotation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Prepare and manage medically relevant datasets for machine learning applications

• Adhere to and provide feedback on annotation and labeling standards

• Execute audio transcriptions in Spanish, ensuring audio aligns with text and making corrections as necessary

• Apply text patterns to identify and extract named entities in Spanish, such as names, addresses, organization names, ID numbers, and medical terminology

• Contribute to the development of Spanish dictionaries and taxonomies for natural language processing systems

• Assess the accuracy and correctness of Spanish vocabulary, sentences, and text structures

• Deliver high-quality results within specified deadlines

• Communicate proactively regarding project status and any challenges encountered

• Work autonomously while ensuring clear communication with NLP specialists

⛳️ Requirements

• Native Spanish speaker

• Full professional proficiency in English

• A degree or strong background in Italian linguistics, computational linguistics, or a related discipline

• Knowledge of Spanish medical terminology or previous experience in the healthcare sector

• Practical experience with data annotation, transcription, and labeling tools

• Proficient in text patterns and dictionaries for NLP applications

• Outstanding capability to evaluate and enhance data quality

• Ability to work independently, effectively manage time, and consistently meet deadlines

• Registered freelancer

• Capacity to issue invoices in euros
