Freelance Simplified Chinese Editor/QAer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.

📋 Description

• Evaluate original short stories written in Simplified Chinese to ensure correct spelling, grammar, and adherence to guidelines

• Offer constructive criticism regarding plot, structure, character development, and other aspects of storytelling

• Conduct multiple review rounds for each story as necessary

• Assist in testing and enhancing Machine Translation technology

• Complete assignments within specified deadlines

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in China

• Native-level proficiency and outstanding reading skills in Simplified Chinese, covering grammar and spelling

• Proficient in English for effective communication and understanding of task guidelines

• A graduate or undergraduate degree in literature, journalism, or creative writing, or demonstrated experience in editing, proofreading, or a related field

• Capability to initiate and finish tasks within the set deadline

• Exceptional attention to detail
