This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Accountable for conducting various analyses of claims databases, as well as prospective and retrospective multi-site observational studies and patient-reported outcomes studies, thereby generating high-quality Real World Evidence (RWE) research and enhancing awareness of RWE.
• A considerable portion of this position focuses on medical writing, assisting in the design and implementation of Real World Evidence (RWE) studies.
• The candidate will aid in the formulation of study protocols utilizing diverse methodologies, encompassing global and regional healthcare claims database studies, multi-site observational studies, Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) studies, and systematic literature reviews.
• This position necessitates close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure scientific integrity, clarity of research goals, and the delivery of high-quality, client-ready outputs.
• Responsible for delivering project outputs that adhere to budget constraints and timelines while meeting quality benchmarks.
• With supervision, prepare initial drafts of study reports and external publications.
• Assist in creating materials for presentations at congresses and for manuscripts.
• Serve as the primary contact for sponsors regarding assigned projects.
• Engage in business development initiatives.
• An advanced degree (Master’s) in epidemiology, economics, public health, or related health fields, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in writing protocols, study reports, and comparable documents for RWE/RWLP projects.
• The capability to grasp retrospective and prospective research methodologies, phase IIIB/IV study designs, Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), and associated methodologies.
• Excellent personal communication skills and strong teamwork abilities.
• The candidate must demonstrate regional Real World Research experience.
• Additional experience includes extensive use of personal computers and proficiency in statistical software.
• Proficient in written English.
• Fluency in a regional language is preferred (Japanese, Chinese, Korean).
