Director, Insurance Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.

📋 Description

• Accountable for overseeing Insurance Sales and fostering New Business development to enhance sales and overall sales volume.

• Responsible for direct management of a team of Sales Managers along with their sales agents.

• Cultivates an environment that emphasizes coaching, mentoring, and professional growth within a thriving Insurance Sales organization.

• Supervises the operations of Insurance sales managers and their staff members.

• Minimizes Errors and Omissions risks by ensuring adherence to standardized procedures.

• Evaluates historical performance, market dynamics, competitors' standings, and product accessibility to create procedures, programs, and performance metrics that meet sales and service objectives.

• Manages implementation, monitors outcomes, and takes corrective actions as needed.

• Guarantees compliance with Club policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Insurance, Business, or a related field is required, or 6-8 years of additional relevant experience.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Insurance Sales is required.

• At least 6 years of direct leadership experience is necessary.

• A valid P & C License for the resident/work state is required upon hire.

• A valid Life license is required upon hire.

• A Professional Tier Insurance designation (such as ARM, SM, AIS, API, AIC, AU, LUTCF, AAI, AIAF) is preferred upon hire.

• Completion of a Leadership Tier Insurance designation (like CPCU, CLU, CIC) is strongly preferred.
