• Accurately and efficiently verify patient insurance benefits.
• Complete insurance verification within 48 hours or less.
• Correctly calculate patient benefits and coverage details.
• Upload and manage insurance information in the EMR system.
• Ensure precision and attention to detail in all insurance-related responsibilities.
• Professionally respond to incoming patient phone calls.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Assist patients with changes to their schedules and rescheduling requests.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in all patient interactions.
• Conduct follow-up calls regarding acceptance of treatment plans.
• Educate patients about procedures and the next steps.
• Follow up with patients who need to reschedule their appointments.
• Support overall patient retention and conversion efforts for treatment.
• Assist with various administrative support tasks.
• Keep patient records and notes organized.
• Facilitate front office workflows.
• Provide end-of-day (EOD) reports.
• Participate in weekly and monthly check-ins with management.
• Experience working in a dental office is REQUIRED.
• Previous experience as a virtual assistant or in dental administration is preferred.
• Required experience with insurance verification and dental workflows.
• Familiarity with Dentrix is preferred.
• Must be proficient in both spoken and written English.
• Relevant work experience is a must.
• Ability to provide an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check prior to onboarding is mandatory.
• Must be available for video meetings with the camera on as needed.
