This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Oversee the complete localization project lifecycle, encompassing scope definition, resource distribution, timeline monitoring, and the final delivery of multilingual materials.
• Create detailed project briefs, handoff documents, linguistic quality standards, and progress monitoring tools for international teams.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for in-country reviewers, freelance linguists, subject matter experts (SMEs), and translation service providers.
• Collaborate with Quality Specialists to implement Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) frameworks, scorecards, error classifications, and assessment criteria.
• Track project finances, budgets, and operational margins to ensure service delivery meets established key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Conduct quality assessments, lead reviewer calibration sessions, and manage feedback processes to address linguistic discrepancies and enhance output uniformity.
• Assist in client relationship management by acting as the primary operational contact, proactively addressing project risks, and swiftly resolving delivery obstacles.
• Demonstrated project management expertise in a dynamic, client-focused setting within the translation or localization sector.
• Extensive knowledge of localization processes, internationalization (i18n) readiness, and translation quality assessment (TQE) methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Translation Management Systems (TMS) and Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) software (such as Smartling, Phrase, XTM, or Crowdin).
• Strong ability to coordinate virtual, diverse teams of linguists and localization vendors across various global time zones.
• Substantial experience managing project budgets, scope adjustments, and financial monitoring systems.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking and project management tools (such as Jira and Confluence) to monitor linguistic errors, validation feedback, and project activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the capacity to clearly express complex operational needs.
• Superior organizational and problem-solving skills, demonstrating a keen attention to detail.
• High resilience and the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities within tight deadlines and budget constraints.
