This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ Act as the primary contact responsible for cyber and compliance risk within designated business areas, ensuring that risks are well-understood, prioritized, and accepted by the business.
β’ Offer a comprehensive view of risk across IT, OT, cloud, engineering, suppliers, and regulatory frameworks, facilitating informed decision-making.
β’ Collaborate with business leaders to integrate cybersecurity into strategies, programs, and significant initiatives, aligning security needs with business goals.
β’ Convert enterprise cybersecurity strategy, standards, and roadmaps into practical, business-relevant actions.
β’ Oversee governance activities, including risk assessments, compliance readiness meetings, and program interactions, ensuring that mitigation efforts and risk decisions are implemented.
β’ Assist in audit and regulatory preparedness by identifying control deficiencies, coordinating corrective actions, and ensuring that required documentation is thorough and precise.
β’ Articulate cyber risks, policies, and updates in clear, business-friendly language; foster strong cross-functional relationships to influence results.
β’ Establish and monitor key performance indicators, recognize trends, and promote continuous enhancement of cyber posture in collaboration with technical teams.
β’ Foster a culture of security, accountability, and operational excellence consistent with RTX CORE principles.
β’ Generally requires a University Degree or equivalent experience along with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related discipline and at least 10 years of experience.
β’ Proficient in various cybersecurity domains (e.g., architecture, compliance, vulnerability management, incident response, application security).
β’ Solid understanding of information security practices/frameworks, including risk identification, emerging cybersecurity threats, and risk mitigation strategies.
β’ Proven experience in team leadership with the ability to lead by influence to drive the development and implementation of operational plans and service delivery.
