This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
β’ Serve as an authorized signatory to independently verify "showing of compliance" documents generated by design teams.
β’ Review and endorse all compliance documentation, including testing programs, test reports, and stress analyses.
β’ Act as the main technical liaison with aviation authorities (e.g., EASA) throughout the certification process.
β’ Validate technical manuals, including the Aircraft Flight Manual and Airworthiness Limitations, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental protection standards.
β’ Collaborate on testing programs and sign subsequent test reports to affirm that testing has effectively demonstrated compliance with certification objectives.
β’ A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering is required.
β’ Regulatory Knowledge: Proficiency in airworthiness regulations such as CS-25 and Part 21 Sub part J.
β’ Extensive understanding of ATA 32.
β’ System Integration: Ensure the correct integration of mechanical and hydraulic landing gear systems into the airframe.
β’ Performance Analysis: Conduct or validate performance and sizing analysis for landing gear components.
β’ Supplier Oversight: Manage technical relationships with suppliers, ensuring the verification of their design and qualification activities.
β’ Specialized Systems: Oversee wheels, tires, brakes, and electrical indicating systems (e.g., proximity sensors and gear-lock indicators).
β’ Familiarity with hydraulic power (ATA 29) and electrical power systems (ATA 24).
