Compliance & Regulatory Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough audits of High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs), granting formal written approvals for compliant designs.

• Uphold data sovereignty standards by verifying routing paths and ensuring compliance with cross-border data flow regulations such as GDPR, UK IPA, and lawful intercept laws.

• Assess life-safety routing to ensure that voice architecture templates fulfill requirements for e911, Kari’s Law, and Ray Baum’s Act.

• Serve as a stringent compliance gate by rejecting designs that fail to meet the approved regulatory baseline, guaranteeing that all deliverables are audit-ready before obtaining final client legal approval.

• Preserve a comprehensive audit trail by documenting the regulatory reasoning behind every approval or rejection to facilitate post-migration external audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in IT compliance, technical auditing, or information security governance within the telecommunications sector.

• Strong practical expertise in global telecom regulatory frameworks, including FCC, CALEA, GDPR, UK IPA, and STIR/SHAKEN.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting manual, checklist-driven technical audits and red-team style design validation without dependence on external generative AI tools.

• Capacity to read and interpret network topology diagrams, routing tables, and firewall rule sets to pinpoint compliance risks.

• Robust ability to convert legal and regulatory requirements into clear technical audit criteria; with an emphasis on governance rather than engineering design.
