This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough investigations swiftly and effectively, analyzing to comprehend the behavior of malicious actors while demonstrating a readiness to learn and become a subject matter expert in compliance investigations.

• Safeguard Twilio customers and consumers by continually identifying malicious actors, non-compliant behaviors, and evolving tactics—taking daily actions to prevent such activities while minimizing false positives.

• Recognize trends, identify root cause gaps, and suggest suitable preventive measures to impede the success of bad actors.

• Utilize call detail records and aggregate traffic data to discern patterns and trends that inform a defined set of actions.

• Address urgent issues affecting businesses, carriers, and consumers on a global scale.

• Leverage Twilio’s tools alongside your investigative skills to detect and avert non-compliant activities.

• Offer email support to customers, ensuring they have an outstanding experience with Twilio.


⛳️ Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in fraud, abuse, or compliance within the ecommerce, FinTech, or telecommunications sectors.

• A willingness to adhere to a non-traditional schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as necessary.

• Proven experience in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, with a strong inclination towards taking action.

• You possess empathy and enjoy collaborating with customers and carriers to address their inquiries and challenges, supported by data.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, comfortable navigating ambiguity.

• Above-average written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying concepts and ideas clearly and concisely.

• Willingness to work alongside communications partners and industry players to resolve issues, troubleshoot, and foster trust.

• Strong time management and organizational abilities, able to perform well under pressure.

• Basic knowledge of Zendesk, Airtable, Looker, or similar tools.

• Fundamental understanding of APIs and related technologies.

• A background in telecommunications is preferred.
