This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Accountable for ensuring the platform adheres to U.S. federal and state regulations by tracking regulatory updates, interpreting legal requirements, and converting them into clear processes, controls, and workflows.

• Oversee compliance programs, manage risk and credentialing needs, assist with contract and documentation compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, reduce risks, and promote continuous improvement.

• Monitor the scope of practice laws and requirements for nurse practitioners on a state-by-state basis.

• Keep track of updates from Boards and legislative entities.

• Maintain a log for regulatory changes and an alert system.

• Sustain a centralized repository of state-specific requirements.

• Validate information against primary sources.

• Conduct regular audits.

• Develop a scalable compliance framework.

• Maintain a risk register and create mitigation plans.

• Perform verification of licenses and DEA numbers.

• Oversee onboarding compliance requirements.

• Ensure agreement templates are compliant.

• Guarantee that state-specific requirements are integrated.

• Provide support to Product, Operations, and Growth teams.

• Convert regulations into actionable workflows.

• Report on key compliance performance indicators (KPIs).

• Execute audits and implement improvements.

• Maintain a validated state regulatory database.

• Implement a regulatory monitoring system.

• Develop compliance standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Establish a license tracking system.

• Create a risk assessment roadmap.


⛳️ Requirements

• Holder of a law degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience practicing as an attorney, preferably in a law firm setting.

• Experience in compliance, contract review, legal documentation, or regulatory work is highly desirable.

• Background in Healthcare Compliance or U.S. healthcare regulations is a significant advantage, though not mandatory.

• Strong grasp of compliance principles and contract management.

• Ability to interpret contracts and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

• Proficient in technology, particularly in using spreadsheets for data management, tracking, and reporting.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating ideas clearly.
