This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Become a part of our Clinical Surveillance & Training (CST) team as a Clinical Scientist.
• Lead the Excellence in Rater Training: Create and implement scientifically based rater training programs to ensure uniform, high-quality endpoint assessments and minimize variability across sites.
• Enhance Patient Eligibility Quality: Conduct thorough eligibility reviews, offering a second layer of scientific oversight to ensure suitable patient selection while reducing protocol deviations and safety concerns.
• Provide Data-Driven Insights: Examine clinical and endpoint data to uncover trends, variability, and potential risks—transforming findings into actionable insights that enhance study execution.
• Influence Protocol Strategy: Collaborate with sponsors and study teams to evaluate protocols and offer expert advice on endpoint strategies, scale selection, and the feasibility of study designs.
• Serve as a Scientific Leader: Work collaboratively across clinical operations, medical, and sponsor teams to proactively identify risks and deliver solutions that uphold the integrity of the study.
• Doctoral degree pertinent to the therapeutic area (e.g., for CNS: Clinical Psychology PhD or PsyD or Psychiatry MD).
• Moderate to extensive clinical experience with patients in relevant therapeutic fields.
• Familiarity with psychiatric and neuropsychiatric assessments, including patient-reported outcome measures, inferential biostatistics, and medical terminology.
• Background in clinical research or the pharmaceutical industry.
• Exceptional planning and organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize and multitask effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to inform, influence, persuade, and convince.
• Strong presentation skills, with experience in delivering presentations in professional settings.
• Willingness to travel as required (approximately 20%).
