Azure Application Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Design and improve internal business applications utilizing Azure services (e.g., App Service, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Storage, Azure SQL)

• Develop features, resolve issues, and facilitate incremental enhancements to existing tools utilized by internal teams throughout the organization

• Produce clean, maintainable code in one or more contemporary languages such as C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python for APIs, background services, and straightforward front-end components

• Integrate applications with internal systems (ERP, CRM, data services, authentication) by consuming and exposing REST APIs and other Azure-native integration methodologies

• Guarantee high-quality, enterprise-grade development results by closely aligning work streams and enforcing uniform standards across all internal and external technology partners

• Utilize Azure DevOps (or comparable tools) for Git-based source control, work item tracking, and fundamental CI/CD pipelines for build and deployment

• Assist in monitoring applications through logs, metrics, and dashboards (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights) to ensure application health and performance

• Engage in code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshooting to guarantee the quality, reliability, and maintainability of provided solutions

• Work alongside business analysts, process owners, and senior developers to convert business requirements into technical tasks and application features

• Contribute to technical documentation, configuration notes, and simple user guides or runbooks for internal applications

• Adhere to secure coding practices and company standards for identity, access control, and data protection; support compliance with data privacy and governance policies

• Continuously enhance skills in Azure, modern application development, DevOps, and AI/ML integration; share knowledge with the broader team

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

• 0–3 years of experience in software development

• Proficiency in back-end or full-stack development using C#, Python, or TypeScript

• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and basic Azure services

• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL

• Experience using Git for version control

• English level: B2
