This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Offer expertise on regulatory obligations, company policies, and intricate case or process-related inquiries within designated BSA/AML and OFAC program domains.

• Carry out daily compliance functions, including client evaluations, investigations, quality assurance, reporting, and program procedures.

• Evaluate and analyze financial crime risks by spotting trends, irregularities, and potential concerns in transaction and customer risk monitoring as well as sanctions screening.

• Aid in program improvements, process enhancements, control development, documentation revisions, testing, and the rollout of new tools or regulatory mandates.

• Collaborate with business, operations, technology, and risk teams to implement compliance controls.

• Support audits and regulatory inspections, including gathering documentation, responding to inquiries, and managing remediation.

• Identify and address issues through root cause analysis, corrective measures, and tracking of remediation efforts.

• Facilitate governance and reporting through metrics, dashboards, and executive summaries.

• Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, guidance, enforcement trends, and emerging financial crime threats.

• Assist in training, onboarding, and mentoring less experienced team members.

• Oversee the development and ongoing execution of the enterprise AML/CFT risk assessment, including transition to a new risk assessment platform.

• Create and implement a risk assessment methodology across various clients, geographies, products, and delivery channels.

• Enhance and maintain the AML/CFT risks and controls library through assessment, testing, and refinement of control efficacy.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, or a related discipline.

• At least 10 years of experience in BSA/AML compliance, auditing, or risk management within the financial services sector.

• Comprehensive understanding of BSA/AML regulations, compliance best practices, and risk assessment frameworks.

• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.

• Experience in supporting BSA/AML-related risk assessments, audits, examinations, or independent evaluations is preferred.

• CAMS, ACAMS, or other ML/TF certifications are preferred.
